How the guides on this site are written, checked, updated and corrected.
Every guide is published under the name of Sakib Abbas, the founder of Beyond Stamping, and he is accountable for its accuracy. A named, accountable person is the point of the byline: if something is wrong, there is someone to answer for it.
Anything an article says the product does is checked against the product itself before publication. Where a feature does not exist, the guides say so rather than implying it is coming. Descriptions of what staff and customers do — scanning a card, joining by QR code, adding a pass to a wallet — describe the live product, not a planned one.
Prices in articles are the current prices on the pricing page. When pricing changes, the guides, the hub pages and the site's assistant are updated in the same pass, so no page is left quoting an old figure.
Worked cost examples are always labelled as examples with stated assumptions. They are never presented as forecasts.
Statements about how Apple Wallet and Google Wallet passes behave are checked against the platforms' own developer documentation and the current behaviour of the platforms, not repeated from other blogs.
No invented statistics, case studies, testimonials, reviews or customer numbers. No promises about revenue: what a loyalty programme does for a particular business depends on its customers, its reward and its staff, and nobody can know that in advance.
Beyond Stamping sells the product these guides are about, which is a real conflict of interest. It is handled by being specific about where the product does not fit — every hub page has a “not suitable if” section, written to genuinely rule people out.
Articles are revised when the product changes, when pricing changes, or when something in them turns out to be wrong. Minor fixes — a typo, a broken link — are made without changing the review date. A change to facts, prices or advice updates it.
Each article shows the date it was last reviewed beside its publication date. That shown date is the same value declared in the page's structured data as dateModified, so what a reader sees and what a search engine is told never disagree. A review date is never set earlier than the publication date.
If something here is wrong, email info@beyondstamping.com with the page and what is inaccurate. Factual errors are corrected, and a correction that changes the meaning of an article is noted on the article rather than made silently.
